"I was homeless, lost, and broken; struggling with mental health and several additions. Mission Heart gave a safe place to fall in God’s arms on Holy Ground. Here I have been able to look within myself and allow God to have all the broken parts of me, and wounds within my soul. I have been shown and taught love, patience, and tolerance. What it means to be at the hands and feet of Jesus. We meet you where you are at. I have a relationship with my children today and a steady job. I attend God’s house regularly. I have a family today that loves me unconditionally with acceptance and accountability."

"Coming to Mission Heart I was completely broken and lost. I knew I wanted to be sober but had no clue on how to do so. Mission Heart not only taught me how to be happily sober but it also gave me a safe place to heal. That's something that I haven't had my entire life. I was able to follow the foot steps of some very successful and amazing women who taught me how to chase my goals as well as the love of God. Watching the women who had previously gone through gave me hope that we can recover and do it beautifully.  This program also taught me the importance of working, paying your bills on time, and keeping a nice clean home environment...all things I took with me when I moved out. Never did I imagine entering the Mission Heart program that I would be not only stay sober but achieve as much as I have."
