"God led me here and I came with trust issues. I didn’t know stuff about myself and the support here made a profound impact on my life. I’ve learned how to love myself and the family I’ve made here. It’s the biggest blessing of my life."
"When I think of Mission Heart I automatically am reminded of the blessing that has been generously given to me here. Through this life-changing organization, one that I proudly call home, I’ve shatter the bonds of addiction in my life. I’ve stepped out of all of the gloom and darkness that once held me in despair and chaos. Mission Heart has allowed me to find the alter into Jesus’ arms. I wake up and am filled with love, happiness, peace, and a true sense of family. Mission Heart saved my life and allowed me to feel what life truly feels like. I am forever grateful."
"I was homeless, lost, and broken; struggling with mental health and several additions. Mission Heart gave a safe place to fall in God’s arms on Holy Ground. Here I have been able to look within myself and allow God to have all the broken parts of me, and wounds within my soul. I have been shown and taught love, patience, and tolerance. What it means to be at the hands and feet of Jesus. We meet you where you are at. I have a relationship with my children today and a steady job. I attend God’s house regularly. I have a family today that loves me unconditionally with acceptance and accountability."
"Coming to Mission Heart I was completely broken and lost. I knew I wanted to be sober but had no clue on how to do so. Mission Heart not only taught me how to be happily sober but it also gave me a safe place to heal. That's something that I haven't had my entire life. I was able to follow the foot steps of some very successful and amazing women who taught me how to chase my goals as well as the love of God. Watching the women who had previously gone through gave me hope that we can recover and do it beautifully. This program also taught me the importance of working, paying your bills on time, and keeping a nice clean home environment...all things I took with me when I moved out. Never did I imagine entering the Mission Heart program that I would be not only stay sober but achieve as much as I have."
"Before I came to Mission Heart I really didn’t know myself; all I knew was drugs. Mission Heart helped me change that. Now I can help other women get full time jobs. I work everyday. I’m just happy for new family. I can actually say I love myself and my family."
"Mission Heart taught me how to care for and love myself. This place absolutely changed my life. I now work at a treatment center helping others going through the same things I went through."
"Mission Heart has changed my life in so many ways. If it wasn’t for Mission Heart, I would have never been able to stay sober. It helped me build my relationship with God. I am so blessed to have these ladies in my life."
"Mission Heart has given me a family and sisters that give unconditional love and fellowship."
"Upon arriving at Mission Heart, I was full of sadness, grief. Depression had overtaken my life, and I was dependent on addiction. I was lost and felt hopeless. I have called Mission Heart home for the past year, this organization has changed my entire life. Inside, I’m no longer living with darkness and gloom. Instead, I wake up daily filled with light and glory. Mission Heart led me, hand in hand to God. Through him and this amazing program and the ladies here that I call my family; I am finally free!"
